Chemainus Residents Association

The Chemainus Residents Association will hold its Annual General Meeting November 28, doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will be called to order at 6 p.m. at the 55+ Activity Centre. Materials and links, including an agenda, minutes of the last AGM, a financial report, and nominees for positions on the Board of Directors will be posted below as they become available.

After the official business concludes, there will be a presentation about a proposed commercial development at the northeast corner of Highway 1 and Henry road, which will require an amendment to the Municipality of North Cowichan’s Official Community plan and a rezoning of the property. The public is welcome to attend.

If you are a member, you will be able to vote on any motions put to the meeting, including election of a new board, if one is necessary. You will also be able to nominate candidates for the new board, or put your name forward as a nominee. If you are not a member, but wish to participate in voting and nominating, please join the CRA.
